Charlie Sheen, 50, who revealed this week that he is HIV-positive – reportedly splashed out $1,629,507 on sex workers in 2013, according to financial records for his production company 9 Step, which were obtained by the National Enquirer.
Charlie has been open about his use of prostitutes and a source told RadarOnline: ”The item was listed as ‘Friendly Entertainment,’ which was Charlie’s shorthand for sex workers.”
Meanwhile, Charlie revealed in an interview with Matt Lauer on the TODAY show that a number of prostitutes were blackmailing him after discovering he had HIV.
He said: ”We’re talking about shakedowns. I’ve paid people, not that many, but enough to bring it into the millions and what people forget is that’s money you’ve taken from my kids. I trusted them and they were deep in my inner circle, and I thought they could be helpful. My trust turned to their treason. I think I released myself from this prison today.”
He also wrote in a letter to Matt: ”In and around this perplexing and difficult time, I dazedly chose (or hired) the companionship of unsavory and insipid types. Regardless of their salt-less reputations, I always lead with condoms and honesty when it came to my condition.”
