Chihuahuas knock Shia LaBeouf down

Beverly Hills Chihuahua was No. 1 at the box office over the weekend, bringing in $29 million and knocking Shia LaBeouf‘s Eagle Eye to second place with $17.7 million. Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist debuted in third, taking in $12 million in ticket sales, while the sickly sweet romance Nights in Rodanthe dropped to fourth from second, earning an additional $7.4 million. Viggo Mortensen‘s western film Appaloosa finally released wide, making $5 million and rounding out the top five. Of the many new releases last weekend, Kirsten Dunst and Simon Pegg‘s How To Lose Friends and Alienate People, fared the worst, making a pitiful $1.4 million. Likewise, Religulous ($3.5 million), Flash of Genius ($2.3 million) and Blindness ($2 million) also bombed, though Flash of Genius has generated some Oscar buzz.
precisely why the Hollywood factory still belts out crap, cause people with no brains watch bad movies instead of good ones, it will never change until you stop seeing them people , get a giant hint out of this article.
I can’t wait to see Appaloosa….
you know, different things appeal to different people – what I find crap the next person will find enjoyable
I would never accuse someone of “having no brains” cuz they prefer to watch something different to what I choose – and I would hardly take my cue from a Tribute article to change my viewing preference
The only movie I would see listed above is Appaloosa, the rest hold zero interest, however that’s my choice
Nat: It would be a pretty boring world if everyone had the same opinions, likes/dislikes. Not only that but, if everyone liked the exact same movies, you would never get a seat in the theatre and ticket prices would go through the roof!! Choose your words carefully…..you only have two feet!
Appaloosa is the only movie in the above list that interests me as well.
