Chong smoked pot with Schwarzenegger

arnold1During an interview with Tribute TV, Tommy Chong of the comedy duo Cheech & Chong, called Arnold Schwarzenegger a “pothead” when asked if he had ever smoked dope with the actor. Chong replies, “Sure did…. Arnold’s a big pothead. As well as being a big steroid freak. Arnold did more steroids than, I mean, that’s why he had a heart problem. When you do steroids, everything grows in your body and Arnold’s heart got enlarged because of it. He won’t admit it, but Arnold’s a big pothead.” Chong goes on to say that Arnold wouldn’t eat chicken fat but he smoked pot because, as Chong says, “Pot’s good for you.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger will be in Toronto on May 30th  for an address to the Economic Club of Toronto.

    Hi Arnold Schwarzenegger,
My name is Frank. Welcome to Canada. I live in Barrie Ontario. I have been a big fan of yours for years, ever since you started your body building. I have seen all of your movies at least ten times each one. I hope you enjoy your stay in Canada. Wish I could be there to meet you in person.
    All the best
    Frank

  2. Arnold • May 28, 2007 @ 9:21 PM

    Hi Frank,

Arnold here. Thanks for your support. And thank you for welcoming me to your country, it is certainly beautiful here. In response to Mr. Chong’s claim, pot is still an illegal narcotic in the United States. I am disappointed that Mr. Chong would announce these claims. In particular, I am saddened that he would say something to the effect of “Arnold’s a big pothead” without clarifying that I’m a HUGE pothead, and I only smokes the sticky-icky-icky. I smoke before some Purple Kush on my way to work, just sit back, and legislate shit all day long.

    Keep it real,

    Arnold

PS. Hey Hey Hey Hey, Smoke weed everyday.

  3. DBH • May 28, 2007 @ 10:14 PM

Why would anyone listen to or take a burned out junkie like Chong seriously? Whereas Cheech remains a player in Hollywood today, his ex partner-in-smoke hasn’t been relevant since the ’70s. Chong showed a decided lack of class in “outing” Arnie’s private marijuana usage (assuming it’s even true in the first place – one never can tell when it’s coming out of the mouth of a smoked out hash head like Chong). This smacks of a desperate attempt at publicity (or a way to get extra money for more hits of weed – probably both). Chong needs to grow up and smoke himself out of the public eye. Good riddance to this washed up nobody.

    Hi Mike McCarthy,

Thank you for your comments. The fans have been so great to me over the years. And the fans in Canada are so incredibly nice. I may be in Montreal on my current visit actually. I appreciate the offer, but due to my busy schedule and security precautions, I doubt I’ll be able to make it by your home. But if you want, just grab a Hula-Hoop, some Nutella, a bag of Cheezies, an inflatable man and a “fleshlight”, and swing by my hotel room. Oh and weed, lots of weed.

    See you soon,

    Arnold

    Hi Stephen LeBoeuf

Hey Arnold,I too have been a big fan of yours since your Weightlifting days. You always make your movies so interesting to watch and they are fun as well.If the Damned Governments would Legalize this stuff (it is not as bad a Booze as far as I am concerned) I would go back to smoking it.If they thought that we would look down on you for something so trivial as this (Boy were they wrong) You are also a Great Governator as well, keep up the great work.

  7. Sue Vautour • May 29, 2007 @ 1:03 AM

    Hello Sue Vautour:

I have enjoyed your movies for many years, action and comedy. I thank you for the many hours of pleasure you have supplied us with.I feel the issue here is not weather you smoke pot or not, that is a private matter, I feel it is one of privacy and respect which Mr. Chong doesn’t (and never has) had. I feel everyone should let sleeping dogs lye.Good Luck and God Bless!

  8. Former Primeminister Jean Chretian • May 29, 2007 @ 7:25 AM

    Hi Arnold,

My name is Jean Chretian. I TOO AM A VERY BIG FAN! I have been taking steroids for years also, in an attempt to make HUGE muscles outta my puny body, but it has not worked. I hope we can meet, and maybe smoke a big fatty! My address is :

    Former Primeminister Jean Chretian
    somewhere in Ottawa?
    Ottawa, Ontario

Hope you have time to drop by my house too after you see Frank and Mike (*as if?~~!~!~~!). Or maybe we can all get together, go to the gym, down some powershakes and steroids and then we can just chill and smoke one up over at the Parliament building’s!

Don’t forget to give Maaaaarrrrrrriaaaaa a big squeeze goodnite for me! You Arnold, are such a GREAT ROLE MODEL for everyone, we should all be more like you … sorry to hear Isaiah Washington (from Grey’s Anatomy) “outted” you. Well, good luck and keep up the good work.

    Yours Truly,

    Little Jean’

  9. Matt • May 29, 2007 @ 8:11 AM

Okay and who in the world would believe one word of this? Arnold has been, and is a amazeing role model. Sure I’ve smoked pot, and I’m pretty sure Arnold has, at one time in his life. Who hasn’t? But seriously, a big pot head, who does roids? Ha. For one he’s been drug tested, many times and I am pretty sure, someone would of found out about it, if he was doing anything. So whatever. I loved the movies Cheech & Chong, good for a cheep laugh at some stupid idoits. But like waynes world and many other stupid movies like that. Not something I care to watch more then once. Chongs probably just trying to get media attention for his new project whatever it is. That I’ll probably never watch. It amazes me how many stupid people, and stupid movies they will make. But yet someone with alot more brains, then chong can barely get a screenplay read by anyone more important then a assistant. Who browses through it then tosses it in the garbage sure ticks me off.

  10. Smokie • May 29, 2007 @ 8:30 AM

Have none of you seen the Documentary Pumping Iron where at the end Arnold is puffing a big Dobie having a chicken wing? Its pot not coke, smack, or H its pot. And its decriminalized so like another “Great” politician said “I am not a crook” and that stands for Arnold.

    Smoke’um if you got’um
Puff a Fatty for me Arnie.

  11. Arnold • May 29, 2007 @ 2:51 PM

    Hi gang,

I’m overwhelmed by your support of me. If the next few days are anything like the reception I’m receiving now, I may have to extend my visit to Canada. I am here to meet with Premier McGuinty and Prime Minster Harper to discuss numerous issues that are not only important currently, but will be even more important in the future. Our two nations should put all of our differences aside and focus on the bigger picture, the world as a whole. Sometimes differences can benefit everyone involved. One example I thought of was on the set of the blockbuster motion picture “Twins”. We were in between shots one day, and my handsome midget co-star Danny DeVito had been drinking heavily. The little prick snuck into my trailer while I was napping and attempted to “tea-bag” my forehead with his little raisen balls. Since he’s so tiny, my forehead accidentally turned into my upper lip. I woke up with a nutsack mustache from a dwarf! Oh the hijinks on the set of a blockbuster motion picture. Anyways, I forget what I was telling this story for (it’s been a long day of travel).

    Thanks again!!

    Arnold

  12. Meghan • May 29, 2007 @ 2:58 PM

ok for sure that aint arnold…since when did he start talkin like a wigger?? lol sticky icky icky…come on i cant imagine arnold saying that and to even imagine him saying that makes me laugh with his heavy accent

  13. Mike Mccarthy • May 29, 2007 @ 9:56 PM

    Hey Arnold,
Such a big shot like you should find at least a few minutes time for your fans. I have NEVER smoked in my life & never will.

I am not a Montreal person. That is a fact. I got lost 2x once. I don’t know montreal period. I like working out as well. Well, not as heavy like YOU did. I think the best movie you made would be “The Terminator”

    LONG LIVE ARNOLD !!

    Your fan,
    Mike

P.S. a curiosity. Are you still a senator of California?

  14. Joanne Barevich • May 30, 2007 @ 1:16 AM

I have tried pot in my day there is not too many people that have not tried it. I would be more worried if he would have taken L.S.D. OR heroin or crystal meth. I am 63 years old and feel that they should legalize pot. It is always the fight over owed drug money that leads to tragedy. If it was legal that would be one less thing to worry about. pot makes you mellow and happy. Booze makes you crazy. Leave poor Arnold alone.

  15. Arnold • May 30, 2007 @ 4:25 PM

    Hi again Mike M.

Thanks for replying. Or should I say “Merci”? I am actually Gov. of California, and adore serving the people of my great state.

I’m very proud of you for not smoking. With all of the peer pressure we face in our lifetimes, it takes a lot to avoid such bad habits. I commend you for your bravery.

I’m glad you enjoyed “Terminator”. I certainly had a great time filming it, although the temperature in that leather jacket was quite high at sometimes.

You work out as well? Good for you! I love working up a sweat, it makes me feel invincible! We should work out next time I am in Canada. I can show you some of my power lifting and power squatting techniques that I’m sure you’ll benefit from.

    Keep up the great work!

    Arnold

  16. Mike Mccarthy • May 30, 2007 @ 7:52 PM

    Hi Arnold,
You are most welcome for my reply, Arnold. Merci is fine by me even though I don’t speak the lingo.

You must be exhausted from all that travelling. I imagine beging a governor is a LOT more hectic than being an actor. At least you don’t have to worry about memorizing lines anymore. Ha ha.
I like ALL your films BUT “Terminator” is the best. I hear through the grapevine that Terminator 4 is in talks at the moment. Won’t be the same without Mr. Action.

Thank you for your commendation. Smoking is not cool like it used to be way back in the ’60’s. My brother doesn’t smoke either. (Thank God)

I am sure you must have been hot with that cool beans leather jacket on. The dark shades defintely is you. You look good in them.

I don’t work out the same way as you do. I can’t go to the gym as oftem since that costs $$$ every year so I do my own thing at home with what I have. Anytime I do my thing, it feels like I’m SUPERMIKE ! besides, for me, $$$ is tight.

One day, I hope we can meet, work out together & perhaps you could show teach me your tricks. It’d be a thrill. I noticed that you have had some books out on body buidling too.

I will keep up the good work.

Don’t stay out too late. Even big shots need thier beauty sleep too, ya know. Gotta stay fresh for the next day of whizzing around.

    Your fan forever,
    Mike

next time you’re here in grand old Canada, let me know at least 1 day ahead of time so we can get together, do a great workout & you can teach me some of your awesome techniques in which I am sure I’ll beneifit from.

I’d LOVE to meet ALL 6’2 of you one day.

  19. Mike Mccarthy • June 1, 2007 @ 9:52 PM

    Hi Arnold,
Since you are now the governor of California, here’s something I think that could be within your power to do.
See what can be done to ban ALL forms of smoking. As we all know, it is avery bad habit & it can cause all forms of cancer.
Thank God I have NEVER touched the stuff.

People would be happier, healthier & more money in thier pockets & your enviroment within Californa would be cleaner.
I am glad that you are working on cutting down on vehicle emissions. Three cheers for you. That is just 1 step towards cleaner air.

    Your fan forever,
    Mike

  31. Bur-q-ua12 • September 22, 2008 @ 2:05 AM

I can’t grasp how it can possibly be so fashionable, trendy and (what we call in my country:) house-trained, for an apparantly famous actor to sit and talk in favour of drug abuse and to also talk bad about another person (mr. A. S.), by calling him names etc.

After all it’s still illegal to “smoke pot” in the US, right?

On the other hand, mr. #1 pothead himself Tommy Chong only answered the stupid interviewer’s seemingly too personal questions.

She seemed unnaturally interested to finding out whether or not mr. Chong had “smoked pot” with “Arnold”. I’m simply asking:
    Why? W H Y?

Three letters that form a most simple, yet fascinating word, since it tend to emerge more and more often, as I try to unlock the door to understanding “modern culture”.

Frankly: I couldn’t care less if mr. A. S “smoked pot” together with mr. Chong.

I used to think that mr. A. S. was good in some of his movies. What am I supposed to think at this point?

It’s obvious, that neither mr. Chong nor the interviewer have got any sense of judgement, as being “role models”.

What did I miss here, honestly?
Does it provide status for actors/famous people to admit that you “smoked pot” and even to be bragging aboutit?

Maybe it was even a total lie…just to gain status.

Finally: that “Arnold here” guy is pathetic.
