Chris Brown’s probation is revoked

Chris Brown‘s probation in charges relating to his assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 has been revoked, according to TMZ. The 24-year-old R&B singer, who showed up to court yesterday to fight the L.A. County District Attorney’s plan to revoke his probation, was released yesterday on his own recognizance. The decision was made after the D.A. applied for Brown’s probation to be revoked as a consequence for last month’s hit-and-run charges. Brown is scheduled to appear in court again in August, when the judge will determine if he violated his probation. Brown could face up to four years in prison. However, the news didn’t seem to affect Brown, who then went to the Playboy Mansion, where he partied all night. ~Alfonso Espina

This guy obviously thinks he is above the law and can do whatever he wants without consequence. He also has a serious anger management problem that should be addressed. The law should come down on him with a heavy fist with enough jail time in order to teach him something about consequences.

Chris Brown is arrogant and offensive. He has no respect for women or the law. He thinks he is King Shit.

It’s always us white people complain about a black entertainer. If Chris Brown was white i don’t think you guys would say crap. You think all these white stars are saints. RIP Cory Monteith. But if it was Chris Brown who overdoes on drugs, guess what the white folks would do, crucify him.

Everyone has sins no matter what we look like. Who are we to judge people based on what they look like. Everyone should be forgiven for their sins no matter what race.

C-Dub, this isn’t about Chris Brown’s etnicity, this is about him beating up a 19 year old and getting away with it. If this happened to a regular person, they would get throw into jail in a second, but because he’s a celebrity, he gets special treatment. Even worse, he isn’t sorry about it. He still berates women and acts like he is king of the world. I personally agree that you should give people second chances but only if they deserve, no matter if their black, white, Asian, Hispanic, First Nation, Indian etc.

I’ve never bought a CB album by I’ve seen on news that quoted his tweets. He’s done and doing alot of charity etc and really looks genuine. That’s pretty good for a kid that still has lots of room to grow up. If he ever gets busted for abusing a woman again than I take it back. But all his exes have said he showed nothing of an a beige nature.

c dub youre thinking of roman polanski, the director. skin colour isnt an issue in this thing, douchebaggery is. if he was white and beating women, same scorn applies. its the fact these celebs seem to get away with so much more that sucks. hello, looking squarely in your direction, ms. lohan. but i digress…and rhianna seems like she might be into the s and m scene, maybe their thing was a kinky sex act that got a little over the line. who knows. who cares. bottom line,if he gets away with beating women, our society is really screwed.

As a black woman, i can tell you my utter revulsion over this (so-called) man has nothing to do with race. If he weren’t considered a celebrity, and he didn’t have high-priced lawyers spouting nonsense such as C-dub’s view of “one-time fight”, his behind would be where it belongs, in jail, regardless of his colour. He’s a disgrace. For his own good, he needs to be removed from society and given some time to rethink his behaviour someplace a little more conducive to intelligent thought than the Playboy mansion.
