Chris Evans locks in dream home

Action star Chris Evans has conquered yet another mission – securing his dream home. The hunky actor paid $20,000 over the asking price of $3.5 million, winning the bid on the Hollywood Hills mansion. The 4,600-square-foot villa resides in a gated community and includes three bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, a wet bar, a swimming pool and spa, as well as windows that span from the floors to the ceilings, overlooking the San Fernando Valley. The house, originally listed as a “great celebrity or executive enclave experience,” was bought for $1.9 million last June. However, with a complete renovation that includes new appliances, counter tops and flooring, the property was back on the market eight months later for $1.6 million more. Now the only question is whether he will be asking his Charlie’s Angels girlfriend, Minka Kelly, to move in with him and enjoy his fantasy home. ~Rebecca Raveendran
