Whilst the Thor star wouldn’t say specifically if the couple had rekindled their romance, he insisted his sibling is “smart and happy.”
He said: “I’m happy if he’s happy, whatever he’s doing in life. I can’t confirm any of that but, you know, he’s smart [and] he’s happy.”
Meanwhile, when it comes to his own relationship, the 32-year-old actor – who has been married to Elsa Pataky since 2010 – is looking forward to Valentine’s Day next month but remained tight lipped about his plans.

“I like to think [I’m romantic] but I can’t say I succeed all the time but it’s the thought that counts.”
Chris and his family, which also includes their children, three-year-old India Rose and 22-month-old twins Tristan and Sasha, have recently made the move back to his native Australia and are loving the relaxed atmosphere.
He told Entertainment Tonight: “They love it! Where we were in California, and being a part of the big city like that, [it was] very different to where we live in Australia. To be able to walk straight down to the beach and see nobody [is] something that they quickly acknowledge and appreciate. My wife loves it [too].”
