Chris Hemsworth’s extreme diet revealed

By Tribute on November 7, 2013 | 2 Comments

While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote his newest movie Thor: The Dark World,  Chris Hemsworth revealed that he is on a crash diet. After gaining 20 pounds for his role in Thor, Chris must lose that and more for his role in Ron Howard’s Heart of Sea. Chris says he is only consuming 500-600 calories a day but chooses one day a week to “cheat” on his diet. “I had a cheat meal a couple of minutes ago so I’m in a good mood. [I had] a bit of pizza. Like 10 [slices],” Chris says, “But that’s just once a week and then you feel really guilty.” Heart of Sea is based on the true events that inspired Herman Melville to write Moby Dick. It follows the sailors who must survive by floating on small rafts after their whaling ship gets struck by a whale. It is currently being filmed in London, England.
