no need to hate. If you don’t like Star Trek or sci-fi Lindsay Lohan and her friends are still making plenty of crap for you to enjoy.

I wish they would leave Classic TREK alone; no need to ruin it like they did the others.

Star Trek is all about the humanity and the story about peacfull co-existence. Star Trek brings imagination, and fruitfullnes to peace and new beginings. I belive that a remake is a good thing for many in our yonger genterations that can take on the new stories and bring new understanding to our own humaninty that Gene Rodenbarry first invisioned!

    Note to Paramount:

It’s not “Classic Trek” without the Classic Cast.

I am hopeful that they can do an interesting movie without disrespecting the “canon” or established timeline of the Original Series and the other movies. Robert April and Christopher Pike were captains of NCC-1701 Enterprise before James T Kirk. I hope JJ Abrams read up a little before he got this up and running. One of the things about the last three Star Wars movies that has sucked is it seems like George Lucas didn’t even bother to look at the movies he made when he decided to pick up with the franchise. Really disappointing.

Anyway, I am not disappointed with the casting decisions that were made. I think Zachary Quinto in particular, was a good choice. Zoe Saldana is fine as all get out, so I am down with her, although it is annoying she had never watched Star Trek before she went out for the role of Uhura.

Chris Pine is a very good actor,
    and not bad-looking either.
He will probably make a very good Captain Kirk.
    I have faith in him.
