Over the weekend, German police searched an apartment close to Stuttgart and confiscated several objects linked to a blackmail case involving victims Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber, reports Daily News. Edis Kayalar, 26, faces charges of extortion after he demanded $100,000 USD in exchange for a photo of the couple’s daughter tied to a chair and gagged. The blackmailer stole the photo from a former nanny, who had taken the snapshot a few months ago when she and Kaia, 8, were playing cops and robbers. After the man tried in vain to sell the photo, he threatened Crawford to pay him $100,000 in exchange for him to keep discreet. The couple did not give into the threats and decided to press charges. Kayalar could be looking at a two-year prison sentence.

First of all, I’d like to say….nice freaking nanny! Ties the kid to a chair and gags her, hahahahaha.
This guy is a louse. I’m glad they contacted the authorities about this incident instead of just paying the price to stay out of the tabloids.
Something tells me the “former” nanny, may of had something to do with this!! Tying and gagging the kid to a chair doesn’t sound like a Kodak moment to me!I wonder what the other confiscated object’s were? I agree Nancy the guy is a slime ball!!!!!
I agree with both of you. I don’t remember anyone being tied to a chair and gagged when we were kids playing cops and robbers! Something’s not right here, and I’m glad they handled it the way they did.
We used to tie each other to a tree trunk and play cowboys and indians, hahahaha! But, the difference about that is that the adults didn’t tie us up, us kids tied each other up and the adults didn’t even know.
Well, that IS different, but the nanny tying and gagging the child? Weird.
