clashofthetitansFrom Warner Bros. comes the first teaser trailer for Clash of the Titans, a remake of the 1981 film adaption of the Greek myth of Perseus and his quest to save the Princess Andromeda.

Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus (Sam Worthington) is helpless to save his family from Hades (Ralph Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Liam Neeson) and unleash hell on earth. BOOPOE!!!

I think that was the name of the mechanical owl from the movie. I have the original at home.
The new one looks cool but I’m wondering about some things.

I don’t remember Hades being involved in the story. Why is he in this one?

I’m not up on my Greek Mythology was he in the original telling of the story of Perseus?

Were those Harpies I saw flying around as well?

Also will Kratos make an appearance? (A little God of War humor for the gamers reading).

Hmmm Good point’s all round. One thing though. Again film makers forget the importent things like,

Boopoe the owl. (Earl you’re right)

    Pegasus the winged horse.

The shield, sword and helm were shiny/Gold and awesome looking not dark and gridy looking. (Armour and weapon’s made from “The Gods” with great uses like cut through stone and never scratch or dim, shield stuck to stone and had a mirror inside it and the helm bore the wearer invisibilty) Come on. (and don’t forget he loses all of them through out the movie. Actully he forgets to pick the up after a fight cuz he’s a dumb ass LMAO!!)

And lol Perseus had long hair.

I really don’t know we shall see Gent’s. One things for sure I already don’t like the heavy metal style music for the trailer if they ruin the movie’s score like they did in Kull and in A knights Tale then the movie will surely Fail. Big shoes to fit here with this one…

I heard they blew the budget for the movie on the scorpions alone, so there are some changes.

They couldn’t get god forged weapons, they instead used demigod forged (They’re hoping we can’t tell the difference. Lousy penny pinchers!)

Also Pegasus wanted more money since in 2012 he’s co-staring with Vin Diesel in a Fast and The Furious Prequel. Instead we will be treated to a Unicorn named Sparkle Lord.

You know a movie they should re-make……. Jason and the Argonauts.

Anyone know the music for this trailer?

  15. Nancy • November 21, 2009 @ 7:33 PM

Ty: It’s a song called The Bird and The Worm by The Used.
