Cody Simpson’s girlfriend wants him to surprise her in New York City for Valentine’s Day.

Sports Illustrated model Gigi Hadid admits she probably won’t be able to celebrate the romantic holiday with the 18-year-old Australian singer next Saturday because she is working for ”the entire day,” but hopes he can fly to her. The blonde beauty said: ”I’m working the entire day but hopefully my boyfriend can fly in.”

Asked about her favorite way to spend a date with the heartthrob, she said: ”We go to McDonalds and have dates and it’s awesome. But I think for Valentine’s Day, maybe just a place with lights hanging.”

The couple rekindled their relationship in November after splitting up last summer due to their hectic careers.

Meanwhile, Gigi, who was recently named model of the year at The Daily Front Row’s Fashion Awards in Los Angeles and unveiled as the new face of Maybelline, would love for her best friend Kendall Jenner, 19, to appear in a sexy swimsuit spread for Sports Illustrated.

The 19-year-old star told E! News: ”I would love for Kendall to do it! It would be so fun. I mean, I think she’s sexy and I think she’s beautiful. I would love her to do it. And she has a great personality, so we’ll see. She’s killing it. I’m so proud of her.”
