Shannen Doherty got a rude awakening over the weekend when she went to the Sheriff’s department in Malibu to complain about the paparazzi hounding her. TMZ.com reports the deputy at the front desk had no idea who she was. When asked what she was known for, Doherty simply said she was on TV, but neglected to point out that was more than 10 years ago. The deputy apparently began asking others around him but got the same response: they’d never heard of her. In typical Doherty manner, after not getting the star treatment she demanded from the police, she left in a huff. Next up for Doherty is a return to TV in the 90210 spin-off, in the role that made her famous, at least to some people.
