Courteney Cox and David Arquette split

Courteney Cox-Arquette and David Arquette have confirmed they are in the middle of a trial separation. The couple have been married 11 years and have a six-year-old daughter, Coco. After In Touch Weekly reported they had parted ways, David and Courteney yesterday released a statement to confirm they have been undergoing a trial split for some time. “The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage,” the statement says. “We remain best friends and responsible parents to our daughter and we still love each other deeply. As we go through this process we are determined to use kindness and understanding to get through this together. We are comfortable with the boundaries that we have established for each other during this separation and we hope that our friends, family, fans and the media also show us respect, dignity, understanding and love at this time as well.”

I am surprised! From what I seen of the couple on the magazine covers and such, they seemed like a couple that would last a long time.
Recently there have been too many Hollywood couples separating and they appeared at least on the surface to have everything together. They sincerely seemed like a nice, down to earth couple and it is sad to hear this news.
this is really sad news. (first im seeing their daughter as well!) i am surprised after spending 11 years together they would think of life without the other one. 🙁
