Crazy Town singer wakes from coma

After being in a coma for nearly a week, former Crazy Town singer Seth Binzer, 37, aka Shifty Shellshock, is finally conscious, according to TMZ.com. The singer, who starred on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew in 2008 and Sober House from 2009 to 2010,  had been unresponsive and on breathing tubes in the ICU of a Los Angeles hospital for almost a week. His family believes drugs were the cause and they blame the relapse on his girlfriend, Jasmine Lennard, who is also the mother of his two-year-old son. Last February, Binzer was arrested for cocaine possession following a violent argument with Lennard outside a restaurant. Police arrived on scene and proceeded to check Binzer’s car, where they found the narcotic. He was charged with drug possession and battery, but was released on $60,000 bail. Crazy Town, mostly known for their hit single “Butterfly,” which was No. 1 for two weeks on Billboard‘s Hot 100 in early 2001, is also the band Adam Goldstein (aka DJ AM) belonged to before he passed away in 2009 of a drug overdose almost a year after he was one of only two survivors of a deadly plane crash. ~Rodrigo Cokting
