CSI star arrested for drug possession

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation star Gary Dourdan has been arrested in California for possessing heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and prescription drugs. The actor was arrested after police discovered him sleeping in his illegally parked car and performed a routine inspection of his vehicle. A “disoriented” Dourdan was taken into custody in Palm Springs, where he later posted bail and was released, according to TMZ.com. The actor has played Warrick Brown on the popular CBS show since 2000, but is set to leave the most-watched drama on television next month.

That’s heroin for ya….it doesn’t just take over your life, it TAKES your life and everything in it eventually. Best of luck ever trying to get off that stuff dude…hope ya have TONS of willpower and courage!!
goes to show that no amount of fame, celebrity or money will mend a tattered soul. he won’t do any time because he IS an actor after all, but he’ll probly get some community service and counselling (which by the sounds of it he needs)

Can you say Photo op! Christ what is it with these actors given the world and they piss it away. They have access to the best doctors for addiction and they have more money then they can shake a straw towards a line of coke at. But yet they are all still falling for w/e comes their way. It’s tragic. This guy is actually a talented and incredibly attractive (or he was to me till the drug possession thing just happend) actor.
I am a retired lady who grew up during the 60’s and never got involved with even Marijuana. I don’t understand with all the information regarding drugs why anyone at all would ever touch the stuff let alone someone who should be serving as an example to the public especially kids.
that sucks, he was really good in the show, a part of acting always comes out in reality. he was so cute, wishing him all the best. i think he was leaving before he got caught.

Total Idiot, With all the information available on drugs today, i don’t see why any one would toucth that shit. Besides that he was on CSI a really good TV show. What a wast.
Hopefully this will be Rock Bottom for him,and he can get on the mend,and realize where this drug has taken him.I thought he was an incredible talent.
A rather unfortunate turn of events of Gary Dourdan. I liked him, as I do all the other actors on “CSI”, which I’ve watched from the outset (well, on DVD, anyway). I presume he did this because, as stated, his time on the show was coming to a close. Ah well.
Paul: Or vice versa! Maybe his time on CSI is coming to an end because of his “lifestyle choices”. I don’t know for sure…just an assumption.
I am always amazed when we the ordinary folk are shocked and or surprised when the stars get arrested for drug possession. It is a fact of life and we have no idea why he’d be that dumb to get caught with all that in his car. They have to spend their money on something I guess, he could be spending it like Charlie Sheen buying time with hookers from an escort service ..right … lmao
his defence will be something like this:
it wasn’t mine, i lent my car to a buddy and he must have left it in there;
the arresting officers planted it there after i refused to get them onto the set of csi;
i demand that my csi co-workers do dna analysis on any and all items in the car;
what search warrant?, the “reasonable grounds” used to get it were made up so any evidence gathered should be inadmissible in court;
i was framed! (stoned, but framed!)
i want my mommy!
