Daniel Craig blasts internet bullies

Daniel CraigDaniel Craig feels like a kid being ”bullied at school.”

The Spectre star admits he has received his fair share of criticism since taking on the lead role of James Bond in Casino Royale but thinks people can be incredibly cruel online.

He said: ”If you’re even slightly famous, you should avoid the internet at all costs. It’s like being bullied at school.”

The 47-year-old actor also insists he doesn’t understand the ”modern world.”

He added to The Sunday Times’ Culture magazine: ”If me and my mates went out and got all s**t-faced, and someone started taking photographs, they’d get thumped. The other thing I don’t get is, people are happy to take pictures of me without asking. But things have changed so rapidly. Nobody really gives a f**k what I think about the modern world, but that part I can do without … I’ve got an hour, and then it gets out of hand.”

Meanwhile, Daniel previously admitted he ”mourns” the fact he can’t go to pubs as much anymore.

He said: ”I mourn it slightly. I like to have a drink and I love pubs and I love finding new pubs and places to socialise. But that has a limit on it now. Bars are hard (for me to go to), but that’s more because of mobile phones. I’ll do autographs all day long and I’ll even do a picture at the end of an evening. But if I’m being photographed all night long in a bar, that p****s me off.”
