Daniel Craig‘s Easter holiday may not have been as pleasant as some would expect.
The 007 actor underwent surgery on his knee after reportedly injuring himself two months ago during a fight scene for the next Bond film, Spectre, in Mexico.
According to producers, the actor underwent a “minor procedure” in New York during the Easter break from filming.
“During a scheduled break, Daniel Craig had arthroscopic surgery to repair his knee injury. He will rejoin production on April 22 at Pinewood,” a spokeswoman told BBC News.
Spectre will be the 24th installment in the James Bond series produced by Eon Productions and Craig’s fourth performance playing the iconic lead character.
Directed by Sam Mendes, Spectre is set to be released on November 6, 2015.
