Daniel Craig says James Bond has changed

Daniel Craig seems to think James Bond is a little “softer and nicer” in the new movie Skyfall. In Quantum of Solace, Bond was on a mission to seek revenge for the death of his lover. However, Craig insists 007 has now dealt with his grief and is back to his old ways. “He’s much softer and nicer now. It’s just different,” Craig recently told MTV News. “There was a story to telling Quantum that we had to finish off and round off. He was hurt and broken-hearted. He’s not so broken-hearted. He’s on the mend and feeling much better.” Details are scarce about the plot of Skyfall, but it has been revealed that M (Judi Dench) faces a testing time as her past comes back to haunt her. With M16 under attack, Bond must risk everything to destroy the threat. Craig has said the relationship between Bond and M will be a very important part of the film and they had fun shooting the different scenes around the world. “There’s also the very important relationship [Bond] has with the bad guy in the movie. We got Javier [Bardem] to come and do that, which gives the film a richer content,” Craig said. “But his relationship with M, they are very close and they basically go on an adventure together, she gets out in the field.” Skyfall is expected to be released this November. ~Graeme Mollison
