Daniel Radcliffe has revealed he won’t play a role in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts films that will be scripted by J.K. Rowling. “I’m sure they’re going to have a great time. I’m sure a lot of people will be really excited,” said Daniel, who played Harry Potter in the highly successful film franchise that spanned eight films. “I, needless to say, won’t be involved. I don’t know if any of us [the original Potter cast] will be. I know nothing about it.” A deal was struck between Warner Brothers and J.K. Rowling earlier this month over an adaptation of her book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, based on the Harry Potter universe. Planned as a series, the first film will take place 70 years before the Harry Potter saga. Daniel has been undergoing a renaissance recently following his role as the boy wizard. He starred on Broadway in the musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and is the star of three films that screened at the Toronto International Film Festival this year, including the drama Kill Your Darlings, the romantic comedy The F Word, and the supernatural suspense-thriller Horns. ~Raj-Kabir Birk

The Lost City starring Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe, and Brad Pitt, is a hilarious rom-com that plays out beautifully on the big screen.
Really his character won’t be in a movie that happens 70 years before he is born?
Did someone really ask him this question?
Oh no!!! Maybe Ben Afflek will be in it, what the hell, the nerds can take another hit!
I can’t decide if this is better news for Rowling or Radcliffe…
