Dark Knight to have IMAX scenes

BatmanThe new Batman movie, The Dark Knight, will have four action scenes filmed in IMAX format, according to USA Today. Starring Christian Bale as Batman and Heath Ledger as the Joker, the scenes will mark the first time a major studio has employed the giant-screen process, filling the entire IMAX screen. Director Christopher Nolan told the paper: “Batman has some of the most extraordinary characters in pop culture. We wanted the Joker to have the grandest entrance possible. I figured if you could take an IMAX camera to Mount Everest or outer space, you could use it in a feature movie.”

The Joker already had the grandest entrance possible when he was portrayed by Jack. Still, I’m anxious to see Ledger’s performance. And IMAX….that’ll be sweet.

I loved all the Batman movies, but by far Christian Bale fits the part perfectly as “THE DARK KNIGHT”. I can’t wait to see the next …It sounds just awesome. Great job to everyone who works so hard to make these movies what they are … They are just getting better and better.

Christian Bale as Batman was the best I ever seen. I am so excited that there is a second. The story is more believable , I like a serious Batman.

Basically these new movies like Batman Begins and now The Dark Night were made as prequels or you could even watch them as entirely different films from the old ones. Jack’s the man, but we’ll see what Ledger can do.
