David Duchovny praises wife for standing by him

david_duchovny.jpgDavid Duchovny says despite rumors that his wife, Téa Leoni, was divorcing him following his stint at a rehabilitation center last August for sex addiction, she has stuck by him. “Last year was a difficult year,” he told Access Hollywood at last night’s Golden Globes. “And I can say that I, personally, have never felt better. And I think the better I am, the better my family can be.” While presenting an award, he announced he’d had a call from his wife saying that his son, Miller, was worried he’d be unhappy because he hadn’t won for his role in the hit series Californication. Duchovny assured his son he was happy before going on with the presentation. “We’re a strong family and there’s a lot of love in our family and we’re just really grateful for everybody’s concern,” he said. “My life has changed, in many ways, for the better.”
