X-Files star married the actress in 1997 but separated in 2008, with Duchovny checking into a facility to be treated for sex addiction the same year. Speaking about his sex addiction, Duchovny, 53, previously said: ''Sex, to me, means I can forget myself. It's just the moment. I heard that skiing is even better than sex. It could be possible - but I'm not a skier.''
