Dax Shepard slams aging Expendables 2 cast

By Tribute on August 30, 2012 | 28 Comments

The cast of Expendables 2, which includes veteran actors Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dolph Lundgren, isn’t sitting well with Dax Shepard. “I think those muscles are all show, no go,” said Shepard in a recent interview with Conan O’Brien. “There’s no way their tendons are as healthy as those big muscles. They’re 70 years old. I doubt in that movie you’re seeing them doing that much sprinting.” When discussing the idea of throwing punches at Stallone and the rest of the cast, Shepard asserted, “I’m not afraid at all. I’m not kidding — I’m not the least bit afraid.” However, Shepard has his limits. He later added, “I won’t fight Jason Statham. Jason Statham: we don’t have beef!” Meanwhile, Expendables 2 raked in $13.5 million in its second weekend in theaters, while Shepard’s Hit & Run, which also stars his fiancée Kristen Bell, only managed to bring in $5.9 million. ~Isabelle Khoo

What an F’n looser. I’ll be the first to say that! These guys should be and are to me inspirational at worst. Just to be doing what they are doing in the film industry and in physical limitations is enough to turn heads. Stallone especially inspires me. He has one of the best directing methods and his noble humble attitude mixed with his knowledge of fitness and health makes almost all men wish they could be in that great shape at 65+. Sher HDH natural methods helped we would all do the same if we had the cash. But Let me tell you Dax if you were to fight any of these (professional fighters btw) they would kick the shit out of you so hard and fast it would be so funny. So keep your mouth shut and your small sick minded twisted dick in your pants you friggen P*$$Y before I kick your ass next time I see you. Sorry tribute this guy is a real loser and has a big mouth in RL. All his interviews show case that and All this is for attention and to stroke his EGO. I saw the expendable 1-2 and for an action flick I was so JACKED I’m hooked and can’t wait to see part 3! The presence of these guys is unbelievable and no one can match the attitude that’s why they were the biggest action stars of thier time and can still compete today. Nuff Said 🙂

How did this tool get a great girl like Kristin Bell? Really Dax? Aren’t you the same loser from Employee of the Month? Enough said

  3. Nobody Important • August 30, 2012 @ 10:23 AM

Yeah, I’d pay top dollar to see Jason Statham kick his ass. Anyway, Expendables 2 was a bit lousy, the various action scenes in the end were sad enough to make me want to leave the theater and get my ticket money back.

Wow, a young guy that wants to fight old men. Yeah that makes him tough, what a tool.
And of course they aren’t as strong as they appear in a movie…IT’S A MOVIE!
I would wager that they are just as strong and tough as he is though. Like to see him make a movie with a broken back (or neck?) like Sly had on the first Expendables.

  5. Jules Roberts • August 30, 2012 @ 11:25 AM

I hope Stallone offers to go three rounds with him in the ring and that he accepts. I would delight in seeing Stallone flatten him.

    Oh please, oh please!

  6. WTF • August 30, 2012 @ 11:37 AM

  7. hairbag • August 30, 2012 @ 11:49 AM

Dax, pretty please read these posts.
    1) Chuck Norris fought with Bruce Lee and won REAL tournaments in REAL life.
2)Van Damme, was a REAL kick boxer and his record was amazing,
    Kickboxing record
    Total 19
    Wins 18
    By knockout 18
    Losses 1

    Amateur career
    Total 48
    Wins 44
    Losses 4
    ***
3)Arnold can still bench press the crap out of you and insists on doing his own stunts.
4)Stallone is just one tough mother. Remember he insists on his own stunts too and in Expendables he broke his back and something else apparently and STILL worked out and did the stunts. Ridiculas!
4)Jet Li-come on same like JCVD
5)Randy Couture-Seriously his record and what he’s done and can do for an older guy in UFC is the stuff of legend.
6)Anyone in the movie can rip you a new A-hole easily.

Dax, don’t be bitter cause they are kicking your A$$ in box office receipts.

  11. Ruth • August 30, 2012 @ 1:57 PM

The only reason this guy is shooting his mouth off is to try to draw attention to himself and his movie. I think it might have something to do with the fact that all these old guys are kickin’ the s**t out of his movie at the box office. I would pay top dollar to watch any one of the guys from The Expendables kick his ass around a boxing ring or a UFC cage.

  12. Wendy • August 30, 2012 @ 2:37 PM

A little respect is required her Dax….when you survive the game as long as these gents have THEN you can mouth off.

  13. Itsalwayssomething • August 30, 2012 @ 4:11 PM

Well Dax, you are obviously as stupid as you look. By the time you reach the age of Stallone and the rest, you will have been long forgotten – like 20 years earlier.

  14. Itsalwayssomething • August 30, 2012 @ 4:13 PM

BTW…..love all the comments you people have posted here. Had a great laugh from some.

  15. PM • August 30, 2012 @ 4:14 PM

I think the boxoffice speaks for itself.

  19. Sandra • August 30, 2012 @ 7:43 PM

Who is this guy? Oh, Mr Kristen Bell…

  20. anonymous2 • August 30, 2012 @ 9:01 PM

Expendables 2 wasn’t that great but it’s still way way better than Hit and Run.

  21. Snepts • August 30, 2012 @ 9:25 PM

    Who is this guy?

  22. Ms Truong • August 30, 2012 @ 10:07 PM

He looks just like a DONKEY!

  23. tman • August 31, 2012 @ 8:28 AM

OMG, he does look like a donkey, too funny, and ya who the hell is this guy? I hope they all fire back at his loser ass. what a jerk!!

  24. KD • August 31, 2012 @ 3:06 PM

Hey guys, you’re taking his comments way too seriously. Lighten up. Dax is a comedian and a pretty funny one at that. He’s super fit too – but I’m sure he’s just being facetious and trying to get some talk going and interest in his movie. They all do that. Yes we all know the old guys are great but I hate to hear all the violent comments directed toward a goofy comedian in an interview. It’s Hollywood guys, not real life.

  25. Christine • August 31, 2012 @ 11:22 PM

    C-Dub <3

This guy is such a moron!
he only wishes he kicks ass the way these guys still do at their age.

Get a life Dax…stick to what you know best which is being an actor/comedian…oh wait..you can't do that either!!

  26. Charles M • September 2, 2012 @ 2:51 AM

What’s a “Dax Shepard”???!!! Nobody would even know this punka$$ little biyatch if he wasn’t Kristen Bell fiancé. Hopefully she comes to her senses and dumps him like a full diaper pail.

  27. Lina • September 3, 2012 @ 11:25 AM

Ha ha he is a donkey
Shut the hell up I hope Dolph, Bruce, Sly and Arnold kick his fairy ass, and then Jason finishes him off,
    can you say loser!!!!!

  28. Lucia • September 5, 2012 @ 10:35 AM

If anyone watched that Conan O’Brien interview they’d realize that he was joking. Come on, Tribute, you’re better than that.
