Sonny With a Chance star Demi Lovato, 18, has dropped out of The Jonas Brothers/Demi Lovato Tour and checked into a treatment facility. Her rep confirms she is seeking help for “emotional and physical issues.” A friend told Us magazine: “She needed help before a smaller problem got worse. She is doing OK. She has been forced into showbiz from a young age and that puts tremendous pressure on someone… everyone is really happy she is getting help.” Although no details have been released, there is speculation that the pressure of performing on tour with her Camp Rock co-star Joe Jonas may have been too much. She agreed to be part of the tour when they were happily dating, then prior to the tour’s start date, he broke up with her.
