Dempsey “Star of the Year”

People magazine has named Patrick Dempsey their “Star of the Year” in their year-end issue. Dempsey, who stars in Grey’s Anatomy as Dr. “McDreamy” and in the hit movie Enchanted, also graces the cover. “I’m just enjoying life more than I ever have,” he told the magazine. “I’m trying to enjoy the moment while it’s here and to be able to provide for my family so that I can step away and enjoy raising them away from all this.” Dempsey’s wife recently gave birth to twin boys. Meanwhile, his Grey’s co-star, Katherine Heigl was named “America’s New Sweetheart” while Enchanted co-star, Amy Adams, was named “The Breakout.”
Exciting stuff.
With the money he’s making these days you’d think he could buy a razor or a shaver. The “just got up” day old beards look can be summed up in one word – laziness. Some star of the year he is; more like slob of the year.
