Denzel Washington caught in cheating scandal

Denzel Washington, who along with his wife of 30 years, Pauletta, was recently interviewed by Ebony magazine to talk about how they’ve sustained one of the longest marriages in Hollywood, has been photographed kissing another woman, according to radaronline.com. The photos, which are being shopped around to various media outlets, apparently show Denzel sitting on a couch, passionately kissing a young blonde woman on the lips. In the Ebony interview, Pauletta revealed that Denzel ‘misuses his strength,’ saying: “I live with this man. I see the down part. I see the sad part. I see every part. He has and knows he has that stability in me as his wife. That gives him strength, regardless of if he misuses it. I can’t dwell on that. But I do know that gives him a great platform to go and fly.” This isn’t the first time Denzel has been accused of adultery — it’s happened several times before, including in 1993 when he was rumored to be having a clandestine affair with Sanaa Latham, his Out of Time co-star.

I agree with George, I’ve never liked him, I find him incredibly annoying. His worst was Flight, he couldn’t stop chewing his cud, even when he wasn’t doing anything, it was like he was chewing 100% of the time. Disgusting.
I think the public dwells too much in the lives of celebreties! Regardless he should appreciate what he’s got at home or she should dump his ass. Getting too full of oneself seems to be a huge commonality of Hollywood.

Well that sucks to hear. I used to adore him & have the greatest respect…thought he was one of those classy older gentlemen types like Paul Newman etc. Hope he & his wife work it out, if they choose to. And to who it was who said it’s not a public issue, you’re right. This should be kept private. I didn’t need to know. lol

Well I dont know about that “forbidden fruit” theory that all black men secretly desire a white woman (preferably blonde and blue eye) and i suspect Jim is white not black cuz it is delivered too much the way my friends say it and we are all white. I for one have always have a not so secret desire for black and Latina women. Some thing about real azz, legs and hips and that it me eat now chocolate skin. Oh, and so do my friends who always say every black man secretly desire white women..and guess what? We are all blonde and blue eyed. I guess maybe at times opposites attract nothing more nothing less> as far as Denzel..well what is he doing that 95% of males and 70% of females in nothing America dont do? Even those that think they are in this oh so secured relationship well u never know what your man or woman has done is doing or will do. S|o let This man and woman handle their own business.
Chris Rock said it well “Men are as faithful as their options.” To complete the thought I add “…and calculated risks.” Although monogamy is not natural, I HAVE practised it on occasion, and some men are loathe to stray/cheat/experiment etc. Some women allow it, some turn a blind eye and others will not put up with it.
Sean Connery believes in wife-beating and countless men (and women!) have had affairs that did not break up their marriage. I am not a fan of Denzel (rumour has it you are not allowed to look at him if you are less than than a co-star on a film), so I will admit to some schaudenfreude. But folks have it right here: either he cheated or he didn’t. And his wife will forgive him or not. And he will deal with it. NONE of that makes him any less of a fine actor which is really all we should care about.

This is disheartening to me and certainly to other women. I’m married to who I think is a wonderful man, but finding out his “extra curriculum activity” involved adultery, it would rip my heart out. As a Christian, we are to trust our mates wholeheartedly. To betray a sincere woman’s trust in the manner is traumatic. And Denzel is someone we have all looked up to, supported and based on the strength and longevity in his marriage, we held to the thought that “not all men tip.” Well, that balloon just burst…
