Actor Gale Harold, 41, who plays Jackson Braddock, the boyfriend of Teri Hatcher‘s character Susan Mayer on the current season of the hit series Desperate Housewives, is in critical but stable condition in hospital after crashing his motorcycle Tuesday. His injuries include a broken shoulder and swelling on his brain. According to the show’s creator/executive producer Marc Cherry, Harold had been filming scenes all week and had been scheduled to be on set the day of the crash. He said they would wait to hear the full prognosis before deciding how to proceed with the show, but in the meantime, at least one scene will have to be rewritten.
