Drew Barrymore named Ambassador Against Hunger

Drew Barrymore, who’s currently starring on the big screen in Lucky You, has been named as a United Nations ambassador. Her title is Ambassador Against Hunger for the United Nations World Food Program. Barrymore, who recently returned from a trip to Kenya, said in a statement, “I am honored and humbled to accept this challenging and rewarding assignment. I can’t think of any issue that is more important than working to see that no schoolchild in this world goes hungry. Feeding a child at school is such a simple thing, but it works miracles. I’ve seen it with my own eyes.”
