Duff wants more challenging roles

Hilary Duff says she wants to land more challenging roles, but blames Hollywood casting executives, who she says, have “no imagination.” She explains, “They’ll meet with me. They’ll want to go somewhere and talk, ask questions. Then they’ll call and say, ‘We really love her, she’s great, wow.’ But they have no imagination. I know people look at me and think I’m just so mainstream, ‘She’s just a blonde, young girl.’ But I want to be really artistic.”
Hilary, you ARE really artistic! The bar is set really high and you’re the one who sets it!
I want another “Lizzie McGuire” movie.

Why are some of you so against Hilary? Like seriously, do you know that alot of her money from her Most Wanted Tour went to tsnuami releif in South Asia, or that she does alot of charity work. I think Hilary is a great example for teens, and shows them that you don’t have to party, do drugs, or do something scandalous to make it big in Hollywood.I think all teens should take example from Hilary. Hilary is a great example for strong young women everywhere.
I think she has the potential to one day be a great actress like Mandy Moore and Jessica Simpson.

I am guessing people dont like hillary duff because when she was doing Lizzie Mcguire she was paid THIRTY THOUSAND!! per episode. Her head became so enlarged after she did the Lizzie Mcguire movie for ONE MILLION dollars she refused to do any more of the shows because THIRTY THOUSAND wasnt enough for the princess.

She’s currently in talks to appear in the next two Harry Potter films; we’ll be seeing big things from Hilary for years to come.

I’d be disappointed in a very big way. If Hilary Duff had ANY role. In ANY of the HP movies. I’m sorry. But really. The films are something special. Something HP fans can see. and revile in. It isn’t enough to just read the books. Having it presented to you. In the form of a movie. Is something that adds to it’s charms. There is NO ROOM. In this franchise for ‘Lizzie McGuire’. Absoulutely NO WAY. It’s like a big smack on the face. For the fans who are loyal to the literture. the characters. and yes– the movies. Sorry Hil. But Hogwarts WILL survive without you.
