Les Miserables star Eddie Redmayne, 32, is engaged to Hannah Bagshawe. He popped the question to his girlfriend of more than two years while they were on vacation. A spokesperson for the British actor confirmed the news and a source told UsMagazine.com: ''He had been planning it for a while. They have a very relaxed and supportive relationship... they seemed to have always know they were going to spend the rest of their lives together.'' The actor, who was briefly linked to Carey Mulligan after they were spotted holding hands in New York City in 2011, asked his future father-in-law for permission to propose before getting down on bended knee. A second insider said: ''He asked her father's permission -- the whole deal. [He] has been basically a part of the family for years now.'' The couple began dating in January 2012 and Hannah has helped Eddie remain grounded. The first source explained: ''He's remained completely level-headed through everything." The actor previously admitted he was ''lucky to be with someone who is very supportive'' and credited Hannah for his red carpet style.
