Zac Efron is confirmed to play the lead in the New Line’s big budget love story, Seventeen. Negotiations with the hot young star were finalized this week for the dramedy in which a 36-year-old man wakes up in the body of a high school senior (played by Efron). Efron had been in talks to make the film since February. Shooting is scheduled for November. Efron, who’s also in talks to do a remake of Footloose, has not yet confirmed whether he’ll reprise his role as Troy Bolton in High School Musical 3.
Exciting news, but it will break my heart if Zac doesn’t do HSM3…
What she said.
I agree. No one can replace Troy Bolton.
i prefer he doesn’t do any roles. i’m sure that there is someone else who is better.
There isn’t.
OMG I love Zac! i can’t wait for this movie to come out-I’ll be one of the first ppl to see it!
I really hope that he comes back for HSM3. I wouldn’t watch it if they didn’t get the main cast back together. If they substituted any one it would just be a waste of money to make/watch it.
PEACE XD
zac is soooooooooo hot!
i have to admit no one can replace zac but it his choice and i think that drew S. guy could replace him if it comes to an end for the true troy.
GO, Drew S. he better take Zac’s place.
I think that the original cast has to come back for HSM3 because if even one person is gone would just wreck the whole movie! So I hope all of them are going to be back!
i totally agree, HSM3 wouldnt be the same without the same cast. If the same cast doesnt come back for HSM3, is not worth wathing. I wouldnt watch it. Is just not the same.
Agreed!
Don’t forget that Zac is also in the running to play The Flash! Efron in red tights…OOO!!!!
LOL. Yeah i hope he plays Troy again…
he sucks
i cant wait to see more of zac efron!
i love him and i want his babies
