Emma Stone and Seth MacFarlane to announce Oscar nods

Nominations for the 85th Academy Awards will be announced by the show’s host, Seth MacFarlane, and actress Emma Stone on Thursday, January 10. MacFarlane and Stone will unveil the nominations at 8:30 a.m. ET at the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills. Since the first nominations announcement in 1964, only one other show host participated in the nominations announcement — Charlton Heston in 1972. Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2012 will be televised live on ABC on Sunday, February 24, 2013 from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
