Harry Potter star Emma Watson is considering applying to American colleges now that she’s 18 and has finished school in Britain. “There are excellent universities over there [in the U.S.] and I’m applying at the moment,” she told Britain’s Daily Telegraph newspaper. “If I go to America, I would do a liberal arts program.” Watson, who has made more than $17 million so far for her appearances in the Harry Potter films, scored straight A’s in her final exams. “I would like to go to university and complete a degree and so that will mean a break from acting,” she told the newspaper. “I’ve always tried to balance my education with my acting career, but I just don’t think it will be possible to juggle it with a degree course.” The final Harry Potter film will be completed next year.
Holy Make-up batman! There is tasteful and then…well…there is that.
Congrats! on the final marks though.
@ L1feless…..paybacks a $#@!%…
I think we should let Emma decide how much make-up she wants to wear…after all, it’s her face not yours!!
She seems to be quite the academic. I would think it would be hard enough to get passing grades while filming blockbuster movies and doing promotional tours across the world, never mind straight A’s. Congrats, Emma.
i love her. someone with success but still maintains a good head on her shoulders. the thing though is that she was tutored the whole time and i think that would’ve made it a little bit easier than having the regular school schedule. but still yay for her!
its nice to see an A-list celeb who is a honour student
good for her
really enjoyed her in H.Potter, she’s a heck of a good actor, and wonderful to see her pursue her education too.
Good for Emma Watson! Higher education is what it`s all about. It`s good to know that there are stars out there who place a emphasis on the importance of a good education(Natalie Portman and Brooke Shields are two other good examples).
There are so many stars out there who neglected education for stardom and riches, because they really didn`t feel that they needed training for a career because acting is their career. But a education is a valuable resource when a person makes it work for them.
Once again,good for Emma Watson!
