Emma Watson was evacuated from her college dorm after a fire scare this week. The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows actress – who has been studying for an English Literature degree at Brown University since September 2009 – had to flee in her pyjamas after the alarm went off in the early morning hours. However, students were allowed to return to their rooms when firefighters revealed a leaking steam pipe had caused the scare. Since enrolling at the prestigious college Emma has been able to juggle her movie career with her studies. It was recently revealed the 20-year-old actress is close to signing up for her first post Harry Potter role. Emma is considering taking on the part of a wardrobe assistant named Lucy in My Week With Marilyn based on the memoirs of Colin Clark, who worked as Laurence Olivier’s assistant on the film The Prince And The Showgirl in 1956. It’s believed Emma will accept the minor role because she can shoot the scenes in just a few days, limiting her time away from university.
