Emma Watson the new face of Burberry

By Alexandra Heilbron on June 9, 2009 | 8 Comments

emma_watson_burberryHarry Potter star Emma Watson, 19, has been chosen as the new face of Burberry. The British actress caught the eye of Burberry’s creative director, Christopher Bailey, who said: “Having known and admired the lovely Emma Watson for some time, she was the obvious choice for this campaign. Emma has a classic beauty, a great character and a modern edge. Her charm and intellect and brilliant sense of fun made the whole shoot feel like a picnic on the Thames.” Watson will be modelling signature items, including the classic trenchcoat adorned by the iconic Burberry check from the brand’s upcoming autumn/winter 2009/10 collection.

i think she’s great. she’s pretty, smart and good which is something rare nowadays especially with young actors. the only thing is that she’s not a very good actress but maybe she’ll get better. she’s definitely worth giving attention to than other girls in the business.

Maybe it’s just this photo… but I think she looks very skinny.

emc, i was just going to say that. before when she first started out she was a good size, she wasnt fat or chubby and she wasnt overly skinny. it reminds me of hilary duff, when she started out she was the perfect size, now they are both terribly skinny and i personally think it makes them look older and no where near as attractive. (not that im into young girls, i mean like, actress wise)

She also has a disdain for the Hollywood crowd, which I admire.
