Evan is Almighty at box office

Evan Almighty opened at the top of the weekend box office with a gross of $32.1 million (all figures US). However, that’s not all good news. The original movie, Bruce Almighty starring Jim Carrey, grossed twice that in its opening weekend. And considering this movie is the most expensive comedy ever filmed at a cost of $175 million, it will be a while before it breaks even. Another new movie, the horror film 1408, debuted in second place with $20.2 million. Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer slipped to third place with $$20.1 million, while Ocean’s Thirteen dropped to fourth, earning an additional $11.4 million for a total of $91 million, just short of the coveted $100 million mark. Rounding out the top five was Knocked Up with $10.6 million.
Thats because Jim Carrey is not only way more famous but a hell of a lot more funnier than Steve Carell. Not to mention Evan Almighty looks to be alittle silly in comparsion to Bruce Almighty.
evan almighty was quite stupid and i dont remeber laughing more than 3 times. went to watch KNOCKED UP on friday and that movie is totally funny 4.5/5 katherine heigl is just amazing. try it out ,its awesome!
Yeah it did look a little silly but you never know looks can be decieving…
