The original “Evil Dead” was a horror COMEDY.

This just looks like a horror movie.

    Kind of a letdown…

The original Evil Dead was with Bruce Campbell and was a classic horror film about the book Necronomicon Ex-Mortis released October 15, 1981. Bruce Campbell as Ashley “Ash” Williams: Ash is the last survivor of the group. Good luck in this one Ash. XD

The Original evil dead was not a comedy……. evil dead 2 was a “reboot” of one to turn it into a comedy. And the third took things wayyyy goofy.

Better be a Bruce Campbell cameo you can do what you want to a movie but not one Actor is Like Bruce Campbell I am expecting to be very disappointed.I believe no one can compare to Bruce Campbells Facial expressions and all.He is a very hard ACT to follow as they say I really hope they casted the right person or many will be disappointed and negative reviews will follow. We will see re-makes usually SUCK !!!.

Love it, and the soundtrack is a killer on the trailer.

This version looks like a real horror movie not the horror comedy classic everyone came to love. Even Sam Raimi’s new horror movie Drag me to Hell had that comedy element to it, that this movie does not have. The main lead A better not be a girl which it kind of looks like (if she is indeed the one cutting off her hand) and B it better contain Bruce Campbell in a cameo of some sort. In short i will still see the movie out of curiosity but my expectations are not very high which may help out my perception on it.

garbage. just another teen killing movie. stupid. find a guy that can act and look like Bruce Campbell and thats what you call a remake. this is pathetic.

As much as I love the original, I think this will be a bad ass movie, as long as they dont change shit too much from the original ,all the cgi and shit they can do with it now will make it worth while to watch, the originals gore effects were kind of tame, this one looks right out there and Sam Raimi helped revive this soo cmon ppl give it a chance!

My favourite horror movie of all time is being redone using modern technology. Will be tough to replicate the terror or the original but I must admit this trailer did get me excited. Must see!

Looks creepilly awesome!!!… Just hope since it is clearly a much more “gruesome” version, that the “Tree rape” scene will be more akin to the manga tentacle rape scenes that originally inspired it XD
