Production on the Bond 25 film has gone through another minor setback.
In a tweet from the film’s official Twitter account, they stated, “During the filming of a controlled explosion on the set of Bond 25 at Pinewood Studios, damage was caused to the exterior of the 007 stage.”
While no injuries were reported on set during the filming, one crew member outside the stage received what has been described as a minor injury.
The damage to the stage is reported as being the result of a stunt that went wrong with part of the room and several wall panels falling off.

This is just the latest setback, albeit minor, for the production of Bond 25 following Daniel Craig‘s injury and minor ankle surgery, which took place last month. Beyond that the film has also undergone several script changes stemming from director Danny Boyle‘s exit from the project last September. He was later replaced by Beasts of No Nation director Cary Joji Fukunaga.
Bond 25 is the Craig’s fifth outing as the super sleuth 007, in which he will be joined by returning cast members Ben Whishaw, Ralph Fiennes, Rory Kinnear, Jeffrey Wright, and Naomie Harris. Newcomers including Oscar-winner Rami Malek, Captain Marvel‘s Lashana Lynch, and Game Night‘s Billy Magnussen are set to join the cast as well.
In spite of the delays, the film is still on track for its April 8, 2020 release date. ~ Paolo Maquiraya
