Redmond O'Neal mugshot Copyright 2009 L.A. Sheriff's Dept.Farrah Fawcett‘s son Redmond O’Neal, 24, is facing an extended stay in jail because no one will bail him out. He was incarcerated due to his arrest for drug possession, when he was found with both Xanax and heroin while visiting a friend in jail. Redmond’s bail has been set at $75,000, but with his mother currently fighting for her life in a Los Angeles hospital, there’s no chance anyone will bail him out anytime soon. His father, Ryan O’Neal, refuses to come to the rescue, according to a friend of the family. “Redmond won’t be leaving jail anytime soon,” the source told RadarOnline.com. “Redmond could remain in custody until his next court date on April 24th. His dad won’t be bailing him out. There is no chance that Redmond’s friends would be bailing him out either as they don’t have the financial capability to do so.”  At the time of his latest arrest, Redmond was on probation for a June 2008 DUI and drugs possession conviction. He is also facing other charges for the drug bust that involved his father.  ~movi_alex As seen in issue #393 of Movie Mail Newsletter.

Good, I think it’s good for him to not get bailed out. Totally agree with Jo-Anne’s comment above.

I think they should let him out for her sake; let her die in peace

Hey Jo-Anne I hear ya however if you have parents who really don’t care about you this is the result in most cases. Not to say that Farrah was a bad parent but look who his father is. Then look at Ryans track record. He never raised any of his kids to be anything but druggies and alcholics. For a while there I thought Tatum would have turned things around but alass she fell. Another Hollywood kid gone bad.
