Ferrera urged to move by network

America FerreraUgly Betty star America Ferrera agreed to move after network bosses voiced their concerns about her living conditions. They were afraid that she was a potential target for stalkers after finding out how little security her building provided. She says, “I was living in an apartment in Hollywood where the windows faced the street. I always left them open because there was an air conditioning unit hooked up to the outside. I was told that was probably not such a good idea. Anyone could look straight into the apartment, so I decided it was time to move. I try to keep as low key as I can, and be safe as I go about my daily routine. Luckily it takes a lot to shake me up.”

Hopefully the move was at the networks expense. I would have just bought blinds so that no one could see in, but if the expense was paid for by the network…great! Truly though, I do not think it is her safety that they are worried about. I think that her show is a hit, and the network does not want people to think that because she lives in an ‘average’ apartment that they don’t pay her well enough!!

Well you have to have some sort of security measures when you are that well known. Who would blame her for trying to live a normal life or at least try to.
