Fillion joins Desperate Housewives

Nathan FillionCanadian actor Nathan Fillion has signed on to join the cast of the ABC TV series Desperate Housewives. He’ll play a doctor named Adam Luther, who, along with his wife (played by Dana Delany), moves to Wisteria Lane in the first episode of the new season. Fillion previously starred in the sci-fi series Firefly, which was continued on to the big screen in the motion picture Serenity.

    this makes me very happy, i love nathan fillion, he’s a great canadian actor and firefly was my favourite show before it was cancelled.
    i hope this role does him justice

    I know, I love everything I’ve seen him, I was so pissed when fox cancelled Drive after 4 shows.

    Nathan Fillion will be a great addition to the TV series Desperate Housewives. Gives us more incentive to watch, hope the writers do his talent justice, like Joss Whedon did.

    I was thinking about skipping DH’s premiere but now that I know Nathan is in it, I’ll definitley watch. He’s adorable and a fantastic actor, can’t wait til Sunday!
