Film critics love “Blood”

The National Society of Film Critics have chosen There Will Be Blood as Best Picture of 2007, and its star, Daniel Day-Lewis, as Best Actor. The recent release also won Best Director and Best Cinematography. Best Actress went to Julie Christie for the Canadian film Away from Her, while Supporting actor/actress awards were given to Casey Affleck for The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and Cate Blanchett for her portrayal of Bob Dylan in I’m Not There.
