David Hyde PierceEven though just about everyone has known this for years, David Hyde Pierce, who played Dr. Niles Crane on the long-running sitcom Frasier, has decided to officially announce that he is gay. He previously refused to talk about his personal life, despite rumors, but in an interview on CNN.com, has allowed his long-term partner Brian Hargrove’s name to be mentioned. The article reads: “Pierce got to Los Angeles in the early 1990s when his partner, actor-writer-producer Brian Hargrove, wanted to write for television.” Anyone surprised?
