Friday Night Box Office

Friday night at the box office saw “Date Night” round up almost $9 million, while “Clash of the Titans” wasn’t far behind at $8.2+. The Steve Carell, Tina Fey comedy received some decent user reviews but by the end of the weekend both “Date Night” and “Clash of the Titans” should both end up near $25-$26 million. This would be well behind Steve Carell’s “Get Smart” opening of $38m back in 2008.
In Canada we preferred “Clash of the Titans” which prevailed at number one, with “Date Night” number two. Rounding out the weekend “How to Train Your Dragon” and Miley Cyrus‘ “The Last Song“. Check back Monday to see final results.
