George Clooney to release his own tequila

George Clooney is set to market and promote his favorite tequila to the public. George has joined forces with Cindy Crawford’s husband, restaurant/bar owner Rande Gerber, to market a tequila that they created several years ago. The aim of the new line is to make the drink accessible to the general public, with a reasonable price. The tequila will be called “Casamigos” — casa means house and amigos means friends in Spanish. Gerber, who recently released a white rum called Caliche, told 213 Nightlife, “We know we have a product we love and we drink, and other people will enjoy. The product speaks for itself.” ~Renita Naraine

He does enough Charity work, but maybe he might want to add to his humanitarian efforts and at the same time promote his liquor and say 1/2 the $ from each bottle will go to a certain cause of his. That’s good advertising and still makes him a few $ and also keeps up with his good guy image.
The comment about making it accessable to the general public was a horrible statement. Kids and all??

Agree with the others – he should do like Paul Newman and give it all to charity, especially Sudan since he’s willing to get arrested for the cause.
