Gerard Butler’s road rage

By Tribute News on March 27, 2013 | 3 Comments

Gerard Butler Gerard Butler dodged a speeding ticket by saying he was "saving the world." The Olympus Has Fallen star had a close brush with the law in Los Angeles when he was caught speeding at 100 miles per hour. He explained: "I was driving down the freeway at over a 100 miles-an-hour and I was just tense, gritting my teeth, and I passed a cop car. The officer put his cop lights on before I even got to him. I have been pulled over by a few cops, but they usually follow you for five minutes and make you sweat. But this guy realized, 'I ain't following him, he's gone.' I was pulled over, but I was let go after I explained I was saving the world." The 43-year-old actor admits that his responsibilities on the movie became "overpowering," resulting in his road rage. He told DigitalJournal.com: "When you've got to train, you've got to get the fight sequences down, you gotta look good, you've got to work with all the specialists, you're working on the script and you're working with the producers - and then you have to go out and do the f***ing role - sometimes, that can be overpowering. But, again it works in this situation, because this is not a normal situation. It was a tumultuous situation to say the least." It's not the first time the actor has gotten lucky with the law. In 2009, he was caught speeding in his native Scotland and was let off with a caution by bemused police officers, who chuckled when he told them he was racing to a TV interview to promote his movie Law Abiding Citizen.

Yeah, he’s just such an important person with important things to do that he can break laws and leave officers “chuckling.” Not in my eyes. Won’t be so funny when he crashes into another car and kills someone, or flips his car and kills himself.

saving the world… there is movies and reality. No way is he such a good actor to not be able to differentiate between the two. Good thing he’s not playing a seriel killer…um officer I’m researching a role…

I’m sure givin his super nice and fantastic character and attidude that “Saving the world” was probably the best thing he could of said. Guys seriously does tribute have nothing better to do then to try to bring down the character of such a great individual by saying he has rage? Really road rage have you ever seen it? I have and it’s not pretty this was just a mere case of not noticing the smooth speed and ride from his Ferrari. Gerald Butler and rage just don’t mix he’s really awesome and also human and can admit to his mistakes. Let’s move on people really it disgust me when every little thing has to be news when it comes to celebrities. They have a life lets let them live it thx.
