Gibson’s pregnant girlfriend credits him with career boost

mel_gibson_oksanaMel Gibson‘s pregnant mistress, Oksana Grigorieva, 39, says she doesn’t know if Mel is planning to marry her, telling CNN: “We haven’t really talked about it.” (In other words, he’s not marrying her). She admits that hooking up with the still-married devoutly religious Gibson has been a big boost to her singing career, saying, “If you think about it, every talent needs a serious push and help from somebody who is stronger, because it’s pretty much impossible for anybody to succeed in this industry. So I’ve become very lucky, and I’m very grateful.” Gibson has directed four of her music videos and because of her relationship with him, she was interviewed on CNN to promote her album. “You don’t control the situations or the people you meet. I did not plan this,” says Grigorieva, who also has a son with actor Timothy Dalton. Dalton obviously wasn’t as good about promoting his baby mama’s career as Gibson seems to be, considering no one heard of her until now. “I’m just doing what I’ve always been doing. It’s not like I’ve changed my goals at all.” Her goal must have been to get pregnant with a huge star who would show an interest in her career. Second time lucky!

    Sounds a bit like a home-wrecking, gold-digger to me

  2. J • August 14, 2009 @ 5:42 PM

Seriously, though. How “devoutly religious” can he really be? Has he read the bible? Cheating on one’s wife is NOT allowed. Just another idiot, claiming to be religious only when it’s convenient to him. What happened to “practice what you preach” Mel? Of course, he won’t divorce because it’s against his religion (just an excuse to keep all his money), but he will cheat. Is he really that stupid?

I don’t blame her much, I blame him for not being able to keep it in his pants, especially after keeping his wife pregnant all those years. What a “prick”.

“Her goal must have been to get pregnant with a huge star who would show an interest in her career. Second time lucky!” HA HA HA HA HA HA HA thats pretty funny.

seriously though, from what i heard mel and his wife were already broken up when he hooked up with this girl, meaning she isnt a HOME WRECKER. i dont understand why society cant understand that people fall in and out of love every single day. are you telling me SR if you were married and your wife/hubby fell out of love with you and you met someone else that your new significant other should be called a “home wrecker” ??? you people need to put yourselves in the shoes of these stars. first of all, they are human, like everyone else so they have just as much a chance at marrying the wrong person as the rest of us, and second of all how would you feel your marriage falls apart, you move on by finding and falling in love with someone else and then you get to read all the terrible things that are said about you and your new love interest in magazines and on the net? im wondering how many of you would have seriously stayed unhappy and single just because you were afraid of what someone else may think or say about you.

  4. Abe • August 14, 2009 @ 5:51 PM

devoutly religious? but it doesn’t say which one.

  5. Moose • August 14, 2009 @ 5:54 PM

I want to be in that sign me up for that one. Knock up every hot lady and still be Devoutly religious! Where do i sign up for that. Oh yeah and child support will go to the amasing Gibson as i will now follow in the religon of the Gibson!

  6. mandee • August 14, 2009 @ 7:34 PM

i wonder in what world having kids with your wife is wrong, or having a baby with your new girlfriend is considered wrong? or considered to be “knocking up every hot lady”.

  7. tracy • August 14, 2009 @ 10:24 PM

ummm…what hot lady? unless this is a very bad picture of her, he must have knocked up someone else as well!

  8. mandee • August 14, 2009 @ 11:54 PM

i was thinking about that, the “all the hot ladies” comment, but i didnt wanna say anything because i know id be deemed as being “shallow”

  9. April • August 15, 2009 @ 11:23 AM

It’s never stopped you before Mandee from saying what you want, EVER, so why stop now?

Oksana has been compared to Octomom, Nadya Suleman (who had the 8 babies) and I do not think that she is THAT great looking either (yet the press has even compared Nadya’s looks with Angelina Jolie, who the majority of people think is gorgeous) so I guess it is all in the eyes of the beholder, but it is not the looks that count anyways, it is the HEART (personality) of a person that defines them!! Of course men are going to comment on “HOT WOMEN” as that is what they love to do as women also like to comment on HOT guys, i.e. Brad Pitt or whoever “floats your boat”, LOL!!

  10. mandee • August 15, 2009 @ 12:12 PM

april, i wonder where your “HEART (personality)” is? to try to cause a fight with me in your FIRST sentence just proved my point. you accused me in the other article as trying to pick a fight with you, its pretty clear to me who is the one that cant live without the drama.

  11. April • August 15, 2009 @ 1:51 PM

    Listen Mandee,

You are a young 24 year old and I’m older and wiser than you and will not resort to bashing someone unless that person attacks me first. You keep saying how I start things, but you are the one that says things in response to my posts without mentioning my name (which you used to and accuse me of doing and call it “childish”) yet you are doing the exact same thing. As you also posted, you just like to be able to lash out at someone as it is good to get it all out, so why not on the blog (of course you did not say blog), so you are using me to attack, so if you stop it, I’ll stop responding. Sounds like a better resolution to me, no??!! If you decline, then you obviously are not very mature and do not care to be an adult about this and are just looking for someone to argue with, which is quite immature, so let’s stop this once and for all and have PEACE for a change!!

  12. April • August 15, 2009 @ 1:55 PM

P.S. It was also meant as a joke as you always say what you want, so that is why I opened with it and even put a LOL in there, but I guess you didn’t get it!

  13. mandee • August 15, 2009 @ 2:46 PM

you didnt say “lol” when you made that comment towards me, also YOU insulted me i didnt insult you first.

  14. April • August 15, 2009 @ 3:33 PM

Yes I did Mandee as you posted right before me, check out the posts and you’ll see for yourself!!

  15. tributegirl • August 15, 2009 @ 4:03 PM

The LOL actually came at the end of a totally unrelated paragraph. mandee, I’m not trying to tell you what to do, and God knows I’d have trouble ignoring this myself, but it is pretty clear to me she is very purposely trying to get you upset, and I wonder if totally ignoring her would be the best thing for you to do?

  16. mandee • August 15, 2009 @ 4:32 PM

see? im glad that others can see this too. whats the deal with people tg that they feel the need to constantly pick a fight with me then accuse me of being the drama queen? or insult me and then wonder why i say rude things back? i agree with you 100%. so what have you been up to lately? i have to go clean and go bbq, my aunt is coming this sunday (not sure if i mentioned it) and i will be sleeping in a tent lol with my nieces. well, the dishes need to be dried and the sausages need to be bbqed, so i will ttyl. take care 😀

  17. tributegirl • August 15, 2009 @ 4:47 PM

Yeah, mandee, I can see it pretty clearly, so I imagine others can too. I don’t understand why it happens, actually sometimes april & I have been agreeing and getting along just great, and I enjoy it when it goes like that with people. But I don’t know, some people just seem to love fighting, and then acting like they don’t, and then blame others for the fighting. We see it all the time here! So I don’t know if ignoring would work, but maybe? And…ok, I’m not saying this to be rude or mean, or anything, but when someone is rude to you, you get worked up pretty quick, so I’m actually wondering if that is why, if maybe people see that it is easy to get a rise out of you? Like I said, not trying to be mean or anything, so please don’t take that the wrong way.
What have I been up to? Well, I went to see ac/dc, awesome, been working like crazy, my youngest son has a ball tournament this weekend and next, been working like crazy, camping, etc, summers are always crazy for us.

  18. Carol • August 15, 2009 @ 6:45 PM

I think Mel is a freak, she is not drop dead gorgeous, at least not in this photo (not that it matters, so don’t comment on my “shallowness”). I still think Mel has gone over the deap end. The devout religious comments, well someone above said it right about being religious when it is convenient. That seems to be Mel, but I guess in some ways we are all hypocrites in our own way and use some of what we need, but not the whole package. Regardless, he was great, but now I think he is a freak.

  19. mandee • August 15, 2009 @ 8:10 PM

tg, i know you werent being mean 😛 youre right, when people are rude to me, im rude back the first chance i get. i was always raised to never take crap from others, and i simply refuse to. if they dont think im worth respecting, then i dont think they are worth respecting. camping sounds fun, im glad ac/dc was good, i cant go to concerts, did i tell you? the loudness of the bass makes me have panic attacks. i cant wait to start working again. soon ! 😀

  20. mandee • August 15, 2009 @ 8:11 PM

also, carol, i agree. people only use things (such as religion) usually only when it is convenient for them. i believe in god, but i dont pray unless something is wrong. thats why im not going to judge him based on his belief system.

  21. demigod • August 16, 2009 @ 2:17 AM

  33. demigod • August 22, 2009 @ 3:17 AM

April, I did see your post earlier, but didn’t have the time to respond.
I would LOVE to try deep sea fishing. I did look into it in P.Vallarta, but the rates were steep..something like $350US for 4 hrs. Fishing for marlin, sailfins, barracudas, dorados would have been a thrill! One day.
So I fished off of that pier (actually concrete-that wooden one was at my resort), and adopted the poor locals’ method..with a hook, light line tied around a water bottle lol. Kept fresh shrimp (that I bought from a street vendor)as bait, in the bottle with oceanwater. I caught a needlefish, and others were pulling out herring, mackerel, blowfish, and one guy a fair sized flounder. Manta-rays were visible along the shoreline.
There was this old guy on a small boat just off the pier everyday, who I guess was out earlier in the day, with literally a boatload of red snappers. He was gutting them right there, tossing their insides in the water with a flock of pelicans surrounding him, gobbling it all up.
So yea, the fishing was phenomenal. Don’t even need a fishing license in Mexico. But I’m for the sport of it, I release my catch, as I do here.
    April, your experience sounded awesome..

  34. April • August 22, 2009 @ 4:16 AM

    Demigod,

Sure sounds like you had a great time yourself and lucky as well. That’s the most important part, right? Have you ever read “The Old Man in the Sea?” by Ernest Hemingwway? If not, I sugggest you try it and I guarantee you will not be able to put it down!! I read it over and over as a kid and to this day it remains my favorite. An old man’s battle against a fish etc. don’t want to ruin it for you in case you have not read it.

You WOULD LOVE IT AND NEVER REGRET FORKING OUT THE $$$$ FOR IT, believe me!! It’s totally worth it all the way!! You’ll never feel such HIGHS from the fight of you against the fish (and that is exactly what I paid to charter a fishing boat (more like a small yacht really with a long pier on the front end of the boat where you can walk out and lean over the look at the water, as well as a full cabin downstairs with kitchen, bathroom, bedroom etc.) and 2 chairs to sit in while bringing in the fish, so my BF and I split the cost for the 1/2 day which was about 4-5 hours total travel time out and back, but the captain kept the fish and sells them for profit,(I found out later I could have taken them and sold them myself, but when I used to fish with my Dad when I was a kid, I always threw them back in too, but the captain and skipper had to use this type of hooked cleaver to grab the fish to get it in as they are SO feisty and they had HUGE teeth as I tried to hold one up in my fingers so my BF could take that token “picture” and it’s teeth cut my hand, the captain grabbed it quickly and said you can never do that without gloves on, but how would I know, I have never caught bluefish before!!) Sometime you can leave your name with a boat and wait for another enthusiast to come and also want to go out with a friend and split it 3 ways, still fun as you are allowd to drink (I don’t though) and you have a blast instantly as they start biting right away!!

P.S. Your right about Mandee, she doesn’t take sides, only her own, LOL!! If you are the same, you sure come off completely different to me!! Anyway, no more of that talk. Just can’t wait for the day when you come to the blog and say “Hey April, guess what I did last week?” and I can’t wait to hear about your deep sea fishing experience!! Cape Cod is NOT that far you know!!!

    Adios!!

  35. demigod • August 24, 2009 @ 12:45 AM

Ok, I’ll look into that book, and don’t hold your breath for my trip to the east coast 🙂

  36. April • August 24, 2009 @ 3:42 PM

Listen, I know that Provincetown is the GAY capital for the eastern states, BUT I didn’t care, I went to see the beautiful dolphins and also went on a “Whale Watch” (saw lots, YEAH!) and beatiful beaches and sand dunes and of course, the deep sea fishing (as there is only one mai dock in P-town, so you can’t miss it.) Our motel was RIGHT on the beach with our bedroom windows facing the ocean and you could hear the waves at night, it was mesmerizing!! Let me know if you rad the book, and I BET you’ll love it!! A fast and easy read for sure!!
    Later!!
