Johnny Depp gives up drinking for love

Johnny Depp‘s girlfriend, Amber Heard, has apparently given him an ultimatum about his drinking. The two fell in love while co-starring in The Rum Diary, which led to his break-up with longtime partner Vanessa Paradis, with whom he has two children. A source told Australia’s Celebrity Fix, “[Amber] didn’t like how much Johnny was drinking and after she threatened to cut off their relationship, Johnny decided to give sobriety a try.” Amber dropped her girlfriend of four years, Tasya van Ree, to hook up with Johnny and they went public with their romance last year. “Johnny is head over heels for Amber and is eager to please her,” continued the source. “He’s gushing about how her youthfulness is helping him shape up, emotionally and physically.” Johnny was spotted drinking non-alcoholic beer at a Rolling Stones concert they attended last weekend. Since cutting out the booze, Johnny is said to be happier with the way he looks. “[Johnny]’s raving about the stomach paunch he’s lost and how much more clear-headed he is, as his once blotchy skin is improving,” the insider revealed.

DC Films President Walter Hamada said during a deposition that Warner Bros. initially declined Amber Heard’s option to appear in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
Maybe now that he’s sober, he’ll realize the best thing to do is leave the lesbo and go back to his kids and their mother.
He says he feels happier with the way he looks. He keeps his girl and he’s looking better. A win-win. Leave him alone.

Yeah Sydney, because after all, life is all about me, myself and I. As long as I’m happy it doesn’t really matter how many people I hurt or how many lives I have a negative impact. I just want to feel youthful and happy and sometimes that means other people aren’t going to be happy. But we only live once, so I’ll just do what I need to do look out for number one. I think it’s great that Johnny gave up drinking for fear of losing his young woman. I wonder what his ex-wife would have had to give up in order not to lose Johnny. I wonder what his kids would have given up in order to keep their family intact. Ah, but it’s a changing world…its all about the self.

I don’t think (from what I read) that he has shut out his children, so not really sure why the hate. YOu can love someone for a while and then meet someone you love more,as the heart wants what the heart wants. And aren’t you glad he and Vanessa never got married?
He was living in France with his x for years and years. It was a ‘good’ break up he gave a small fortune to not drag it through the courts and he didn’t even have to do that because they were only common law. His kids are supported and he met someone who is helping him feel younger and get healthier. Is it a healthy relationship? Sound like it is. Kudos.
Stop the hate! his children live in LA with him. It’s Vanessa the one who has been moving around, because her work she has to spend great amount of time in France. Even here in France, when this information was known publicly, some tabloids blamed her to be a bad mother.
That’s very cruel.
Vanessa and Johnny decided what is the best for their children, and they have their lives in LA. And Johnny was taking a break from filming, since the last year to take care of them.
Don’t judge their role as parents. i’m sure they are doing the best they can in their own way.
And actually almost I feel admiration for Amber’s bravery to stay with Johnny even with all the hate, and even when with 20 something years old, she would have to cope with the role of “stepmother”- she has to love him very much to do this!
Four years with a woman? I predict Amber will drop him eventually and go back to women. I think she is more desirous of a bit of extra publicity than she is desirous of sex with a man.
I think you all need to grow up and mind your own business. I believe anybody who cheats on their partner will always be a loser and nothing good will ever come to the cheater.

You people ever hear of bisexuals? She may very well have been with a woman for four years, but that doesn’t make her exclusively lesbian. Her sexuality is her business. And sexuality isn’t a total one way or the other; there are varying degrees within. Educate yourself.
I personally think Johnny Depp is one of the best actors in the World. He is an A Lister and he deserves it. I think an actor can play a drunken sailor even if he doesnt drink . Just like a great actor like Sir Anthony Hopkins can play a person who eats people even if he doesnt eat people. I personally am surprised Johnny Depp would leave his wife even if they are common law. He seemed to have the perfect life like Sir Richard Branson.
I find it hard to believe that Johnny would let anyone, never mind this female tell him what to do. She supposedly “fell in love with him” as he was, so why try to change him. However, what I find even harder to believe is that Johnny left beautiful Vanessa & his wonderful kids for this “new generation Jolie”. Johnny, you belong with your family or at least with someone who will let you be you. If AH waits long enough, I’m sure AJ will be available. Just give her time to actually get the wedding ring on her finger, then she will be ready to break up her own marriage as she has all the others.
As for Johnny living in LA with his children, it’s obvious that someone has screwed with his mind. He lived in France to get away from the States and his greedy, self-serving lifestyle. It’s time he reexamined his life and got back on the right track. He and Vanessa were happy for a very long time even though they both travelled for their careers. It just took the “right (wrong) homewrecker” to tear their family apart. What a disappointment.
For anyone who believes that Johnny and Vanessa weren’t married, in the eyes of the law in almost any country, once you’ve co-habitated for a minimum of six months, you are considered married even if it is common law. So watch out. Anyone who lives with another person for six months or more, better hope there are not children involved. You’ll pay through the nose if you get close to those children, even if they are not yours. All the other party has to do to screw you over is claim that the children look upon you as a parent.
The kids are with him all the time in L.A and they are attending school there and he picks them up sometimes and as for v she and johnny had a private problems since 2010 and amber have nothing to do with the spilt they just spilt up like any normal couple and i think there is nothing wrong with moving on with his life and date some hot young chick who loves and takes care of him
