God’s Not Dead gets Canadian release date

God’s Not Dead, the independent movie that’s been burning up the screens across the U.S., landing in the Top 5 at the box office for the past two weekends in a row, has finally gotten a Canadian release date! We’ve had numerous letters from our Tribute fans asking when the film is coming to Canada and we’re pleased to report the movie is opening on April 11 in select cities. The movie was in the number four spot this past weekend at the box office, having climbed a spot from the previous weekend. It’s about Josh, a college freshman who finds his faith challenged on his first day of Philosophy class by his professor, who tells the class they have to deny the existence of God in writing or face failing the class. Josh takes him on and is given the assignment of proving the existence of God through research, intellectual arguments and evidence. Despite being in limited release, the movie has brought in a total of $32.52 million in three weeks in the U.S. Here are the cities confirmed to release the movie in Canada:
