Golden Globe nominations announced – Barbie leads with nine

Barbie leads 81st Golden Globe nominationsThe nominees for the 81st Golden Globe Awards were announced this morning by Cedric the Entertainer and Wilmer Valderrama. In the film categories, Barbie led with nine nominations.

Oppenheimer was close behind with eight, while Killers of the Flower Moon and Poor Things each earned seven nods.

In the television categories, Succession led with nine nominations, followed by Only Murders in the Building and The Bear, which scored five nominations each.

The awards ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS Sunday, January 7, 2024, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. It will also also stream on Paramount+.
